Pterostylis obtusa

(Blunt-Tongue Greenhood)

Growing in colonies, this deciduous terrestrial orchid occurs in local forests in well-drained, moist sites. When fertile, it produces a slender, green flower stem up to 25cm tall emerging from a rosette of small, dark green leaves. The flower is about 30mm across.
